Season Review: Deron had an All-Star season this year and an All-World showing during the NBA Playoffs. He proved himself as a top 3 point guard in the league and still has time and room to improve. He was able to impose his will to win and demonstrate a little of his "nasty" to opposing point guards. He emerged as a vocal leader and was able to back it up on the court. He has earned Jerry Sloan's trust and this will bode well for the Utah Jazz in the future.
Areas to Improve:
Defensive Quickness - his steals per game were up during the playoffs and he needs to remain active next season.
Free Throws - Deron has good form on his shot, but at times he was inconsistent. Should be 85% from the line.
3 Point Shooting - He has the tools to improve his range. If he became a 36%-38% shooter from deep, he would be unstoppable.
07-08 Outlook: Deron should come back from the off season with added confidence in his game. If he does not make the Olympic Team, look for him to also come back with a chip on his shoulder. He has proven in the past he will use any sort of a snub as motivation. He should be the first player from his draft class to make the All-Star team and this will be a habit for years to come. Look for him to continue to thrive in Sloan's system and find more ways to attack opponents. He is a winner and is responsible for bringing a winning attitude back to the Utah Jazz. Good things happen with Deron Williams as your point guard.

I don't normally make predictions, but don't be surprised if Deron is considered for MVP.
