Happy Birthday Jerry Sloan, Don't Change A Thing.

Some things never change. Jerry Sloan is one of those things. I will be honest, sometimes I love him as a coach and other times his decision making drives me crazy. Although I may not agree with everything he does, he has been very successful and is responsible for much of the Jazz's success. He is strong and steady. He is consistent and predictable to a fault. My buddy Jake and I can just about predict how Jerry will react after a Jazz victory or loss. In defeat he is always complimentary of the other team, and in victory he is never satisfied. Keep up the good work Jerry. You can coach as long as you would like to, or at least until you do something that I do not agree with as a fan, at which point I demand that you retire. Happy 65th Birthday!

I think in professional sports little has to do with coaching and more to do with talent. With that being said I believe that Jerry Sloan is one of the few professional coaches that actually has an impact on the game good or bad. One thing that you can't argue with is that fact that he wins.

Just get me a championship or get out of town.
